Biography
Siavash Ghomayshi is an Iranian musician, singer, and songwriter. Born in Ahvaz, Iran, he studied music in London where he earned a master's degree. He left Iran in 1978 and currently resides in Los Angeles.
Over the past four decades, Siavash has established himself as a pop rock artist. He has composed songs for various artists including Ebi, Moein, Googoosh, Aref, Mansour, Leila Forouhar, and Shohreh Solati.
He is noted for being the first Iranian artist to handle all four main components of a song—lyrics, composition, arrangement, and vocals—on his own. His work on IranMusic.TV includes titles such as "Dorough" and "Dooset Daram".
