Biography
Sattar is an Iranian singer specializing in both Persian pop and classical music. Born in Tehran in 1949, he gained fame before the Islamic Revolution and served as a court singer for the Pahlavi Royal Family until the late 1970s.
Following the political upheavals of the late 1970s, Sattar left Iran in 1978 and has since resided in the United States. His work is associated with several record labels including Avang Music, Caltex Records, and Taraneh Records.
