Biography

Hassan Shamaizadeh is an Iranian pop music composer, singer, and instrumentalist. Born in Isfahan, Iran, he began his career playing the clarinet and other wind instruments before expanding his work to include the piano and other instruments due to his composition work.

Following the 1979 revolution, Shamaizadeh migrated to the United States with his family, where he continued his activities as a composer and songwriter. He has composed some of the most important songs in Iranian pop music for various artists including Googoosh, Shohreh, Solti, Dariush, Moein, Hamira, Hayedeh, Mahasti, Leila Forouhar, and Aref.

His work is frequently released with arrangements by other Iranian musicians. He is featured on IranMusic.TV with several of his songs, including "Gole Naz", "Esaarat", "Deltangi", and "Mamnoonam".
