
Biography
Owen Pallett is a Canadian composer, violinist, keyboardist, and vocalist. They are known for their work as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, performing on instruments such as the violin, guitar, piano, synthesizer, and voice.
Under their former pseudonym Final Fantasy, Pallett won the 2006 Polaris Music Prize for the album He Poos Clouds. They have also contributed to Arcade Fire as a string arranger and touring member of the band.
In January 2014, Pallett and Arcade Fire member William Butler were nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Score for the film Her (2013).
