Laleh Pourkarim, known mononymously as Laleh, is an Iranian-born Swedish singer-songwriter, record producer, and musician. She entered the music industry in 2005 with her self-titled debut album, which peaked at number one in Sweden and became the highest-selling album of the year in that country.
Her artistic versatility extends beyond music, as she is also an actor, composer, poet, and writer. In addition to her vocal work, she plays the guitar and piano.
