Homeyra is a veteran Iranian singer with over half a century of artistic activity. Born in Tehran, she has achieved legendary popularity among the Iranian people and is considered a celebrity of the golden age of Iranian music.
Her professional career began in the autumn of 1344 (Iranian calendar) with the song "Sabrem Ata Kon," composed by her teacher, Ali Tajvidi. Following several successful works such as "Pashimanm," she collaborated with and married her second teacher, Parviz Yahaghi. After separating from Yahaghi, she continued her artistic activities with other artists, expanding her repertoire to include Persian traditional music, pop music, and fusion music.
According to her teacher Ali Tajvidi, Homeyra's voice ranges from alto to soprano.
