In support of Iranian political prisoners on hunger strike I shall be released (Bob Dylan) Ezzatollah Sahabi, an Iranian scholar, humanitarian, democracy activist, politician and former parliament member, spent a total of 15 years in prison both before and after the 1979 Islamic revolution. After going into a coma Shahabi died on May 31, 2011 at the age of 81. Haleh Sahabi, Iranian humanitarian and democracy activist, was the daughter of Ezzatollah Sahabi.
