
Biography
Liraz Charhi is an Iranian-Israeli actress, singer, and dancer. Born in Ramla, Israel, she began her professional career in theater at the age of 11 to 14 at the Habima National Theatre, having started singing at age five.
Charhi has a diverse artistic profile, spanning music and acting. She gained visibility through the television series Ha-Masa'it in 2002 and later appeared in a cinematic film by the Israel Film Academy in 2004. Her international presence is expanded by an invitation to the Israel Film Festival in Los Angeles in 2006 and a role in a French television series in 2010.
In music, she has collaborated with Israeli singer Ziv Kojo, performing songs such as "Od Tzohaim" and "Al Tefsik," and worked with Iranian musician Raman Loveworld on the 2020 album Woman (Zen), which was described as a first cultural collaboration between Tehran and Tel Aviv for peace.
She is the niece of the Iranian-born Israeli singer Rita.
